Before and After: Tobi by Melomiku

I don't post much of Bellany's kids often since I'm usually in Discord :'D.

Here's a before and after of a drawing I did of one of them, Tobi, where I attempted to do a more realistic style. I used a different app to make the newer one, ibisPaint X, and it's a really cool app for drawing as it has more of a variety of brushes (but some can be bought or you can use it for free for up to 18 hours) as well as functions such as rulers, blur option, select and tranform, etc.

I'm also making it canon that Tobi has a darker skin tone than his brother Koteru as he takes after his mother, Bellany. I think it fits with Bellany having darker skin since I would associate her race with Romanis (or what some people will call them: gypsies).

Overall, I'm impressed with the improvement, but I know I could fix a few things here and there. The lips gave me a hard time at first before deciding to use a softer brush instead of doing hard colour to draw the lips. I also want to practise more shading with the hair and find out how to do textures as well.

Tobi belongs to me.

They've been looking for a home ever since they were little, so this is the closest thing for a "home". Were the last words Bellany heard as she crashed into the car. The car stopped but nobody came out. Blood, staring at her friend, she looked at the car. She ran up to it and angrily knocked on the window.
"OPEN UP!"
She said, trying to open the door. Blood noticed that it was open and she saw the drunk man. "Hello therrrre pretty girrrll. Do youwant to-" "WHAT THE F*CK MAN? Why did you drink then drive?? Are you a F*CKING IDIOT?!" She yelled at him. Blood  didn't want to lose her only friend. "What?" the man replied. Blood picked up the man by his shirt and threw him out. She looked for a phone in the car. "Do you have a phone?!" she said to the man, shaking him. "In the thing wittthh the keyhollerrr" "Plasma! Lock opener!" "On it!" Plasma said taking out a contraption of some sort. He threw it over to Blood. Blood opened the compartment and took out his phone. 10%. I gotta make this call quick. she thought as she dialled 911.

Come back to me Chapter 2As the twins and Bellany were walking in the town, Plasma was quiet. He didn't talk, smirk, whisper, cough, yawn, whistle, not a single sound. Geez, he's so quiet. Bellany thought. Is this my fault that Plasma's not talking? Bellany was playing around with her fingers nervously. "Hey what's wrong? You're acting like something's up." Blood whispered with a worried expression on her face. Until she said that, Plasma started to feel suspicious.
"Oh i-it's nothing really, I just think Plasma's not talking because of me." Bellany whispered
"Why would you think that?"
"I think your brother doesn't want to talk to me 'cause I'm still a 'stranger danger' to him."
"Well, I'm the only one he has."
"But I don't pose a threat to you!"
"Did you say threat?"
Plasma stopped the conversation. "What? No, why would I? You know I'm nice right?" Bellany tried to get herself out of Plasma's conversation. He just shrugged and looked forward.

Come back to me Chapter 1The sun was setting in the distance, giving the sky the beautiful orange colour in the evening. A girl, with long black hair tied at the bottom with a yellow ribbon, came walking down a long path leading to an old park. She was wearing a gray "sweater" that drooped all the way to her thighs and had "pockets", a yellow tank top under it, blue denim shorts and brown knee high boots. She kept a smile on her face while walking, enjoying the beautiful scenery as the trees lined the outside of the path to the old park. She held a bag with two small boxes.
